During Spring 2016, Fresh Films will release its current film, Traveling Without Moving. During summer and fall, Aurora teens will once again be engaged working on-set or in the editing bay for Fresh Films newest educational film project.
With the support of other foundation and corporate sponsors, Dunham Fund will:
- Allow four Aurora area students to attend the White House Science Fair Premiere of Traveling Without Moving, promote the Paramount Theatre screening of the film, with 90% of the proceeds donated to a Dunham Fund charity of choice, and underwrite two Aurora middle and high school screening events followed by Tech/STEM Career interactive career talks and demos with film industry professionals,
- In summer 2016, allow up to 15 Aurora area teens to participate in 6 day, 60 hour apprenticeships on the Fresh Films Chicago crew for a new film production and four area teens to attend a filmmaking workshop hosted at Augustana College in Rock Island, and
- In fall 2016, host up to 40 Aurora area teens in two editing sessions on Adobe Premiere at the Aurora Public Library.
