The Set Me Free Project was established to raise awareness about and to reduce the number of victims of human trafficking in the United States. The organization offers its services free of charge to individuals regardless of their socioeconomic status, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or gender.
Set Me Free Ministries provides resources to youth and parents, and refers those in need to organizations within their communities offering support services. Because the rescue rate for trafficked victims is only one percent globally, the organization engages schools, parents, youth and community groups, providing training and tools to educate them about the prevention of trafficking and the potential dangers of social media and risky behavior to children.
Since May 2015, the fledgling organization has presented to over 4,000 students, 800 parents, 1,500 educators, and over 2,000 community members at over 90 different events.
